Patriots from all over the Nation heeded Michele Bachmann's plea of less than a week ago to come to Washington to rally and lobby congress to vote no on Pelosi care. At Noon yesterday, Michelle Bachmann descended the steps of the US Capitol joined by leading Republicans to the thundering cheers of patriots, and their chants of "kill the bill." These Americans Patriots, who Nancy Pelosi, condescendignly called, "Astroturf" back in August, had eagerly waited for the press conference and rally to begin for over two hours. And they were not disappointed.
"We are here today to bring focus and voice to the concerns of the American people about this bill," noted Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.). "We are here today for a House call on Washington.
"As a physician, I've read the majority of this bill. And I've got a diagnosis: It's legislative malpractice," he added.
The kickoff was followed with an emotional prayer, the reciting of "The Pledge Of Allegiance." who one representative noted "Drives the liberals nuts!" To the cheers and agreement of the crowd. And the singing of our national anthem "The Star Spangled Banner."
"YOU CAME!!!" Michele Bachmann proclaimed to the crowd as she thanked them for taking a stand against what she touted on The Hannity Show last week as "The Crown Jewel Of Socialsm."
Film actor John Voight called Michele Bachmann a great Congresswoman, a great human being and a true American Patriot who is a voice for all Americans who do not want Government Run Health Care to pass.
Author and Talk Show host Mark Levin quipped to the media, "Take this down." "This is about "Liberty!" The crowd went wild and burst into crescendo chants of "Vote Them Out!" "Vote Them Out!"
Michele Bachmann ended House Call Rally by inviting patriots to flood congressional offices with copies of pages of bill in hand, which Congressman, John Culberson (TX), was flinging up in the air, to the cheers of the crowd. "Go to your congressman and ask them to explain the page from the bill that you hold in your hand" Bachmann encouraged. The rally ended with prayer and the singing of "God Bless America."
The crowd was pumped and quickly began converging on the steps to the Congressional offices. Rumor has it that Nancy Pelosi wanted to shut down the building but was overruled. She did, however, beef up security outside her offices. Even though, she was MIA, The crowd refusing to be intimidated, chanted "kill the bill" at the top of their lungs outside her locked doors and left copies of the pages of the bill at her door. You could hear their roar throughout the Halls Of Congress.
I asked Rep John Culberson if he thought Congressional Democrats were taking notice. "Oh they are shaking in their boots!" He exclaimed with confidence.
Well done fellow Freedom Loving Patriots. Your voices echoed throughout the halls of Congress yesterday. Well done indeed!
